30/Jul/14

Trip Highlights: (where we went, what we saw, etc.) Several pods of orcas; humpback whales close to shoreline; humpback sleeping near islands; Dalls porpoises; red jellyfish. Additional Comments: Just got back from Alaskan cruise where I paid $100s to view both types of whales on 2 different excursions. Saw more today than imagined. Wonderful to enjoy with my kids. Lunch was terrific! Captain and crew were extremely informative with their wealth of knowledge. Educational as well as worth the $$ because so much was seen. Loved the senses of humour of Captain.
